Due to current extreme demand, we have exceeded the allowable ACH transaction limit imposed by our ACH payment processors. Accordingly, ACH payments have been suspended, except for regularly scheduled monthly deposits.
That said, we have now created an invoicing system for credit and debit card payments. The way it works is that members may request an invoice to convert up to $1,000 paper dollars into Gold/Silver Dollars, or Goldbacks. Invoices are issued and paid online. Members should allow about one business day to receive the invoice by email from our payment processor. Once the member has paid the invoice online, the deposit transaction will be completed on our end.
Of course, the best way to fund an account has always been by wire or check, neither of which is subject to any limits whatsoever. UPMA members can even use their own bank’s electronic Bill Pay system to schedule deposits into their UPMA capital credit account. Automated or handwritten checks should be made payable to UPMA’s escrow agent:

Check and wire payment methods allow for the lowest rates and quickest clearing times. The intent behind the card payments is to allow new members to test the system before fully funding their accounts.
These changes are designed to afford members additional security and flexibility in “going gold” during these tumultuous times.
