Goldback Accounts

Members that fund their online Goldback account may request immediate delivery of their Goldbacks in whichever denominations that they prefer. It is much like requesting cash to be shipped from a bank or credit union. For example, if your account has 1,000 (SLT) Goldbacks and you would like delivery then you could request any mix of 1s, 5s, 10s, 25s, and/or 50s.

Note that Goldbacks that are held in your account do not have vaulting or membership fees. They may be pulled out in any available series.

Goldbacks may be shipped from a member’s account to their residence even if they live overseas*. Goldbacks may also be purchased at the office directly during normal business hours.

HOW TO WITHDRAW/Ship GOLDBACKS:

Step #1. Fund your UPMA Goldback Account. These accounts do not have any membership or vaulting fees.

Step #2. Request a withdrawal of Goldbacks from your account.

Step #3. You’ll receive a confirmation email of the withdrawal. The Goldbacks will be shipped in 2-4 business days.

If you would like to request specific Goldbacks from your account, email us which denominations you would like before you submit your withdrawal request. You will want to add extra funds to cover shipping when you fund your Goldback account. See below for shipping options:

We can use the following as acceptable payments for Goldbacks:

  1. UPMA gold holdings

  2. UPMA silver holdings

  3. Any amount in cash, meaning physical bills. All federal cash regulations are strictly followed.

  4. Personal check payable to Legal Tender Services. Mail to: UPMA 333 S Main Street, Alpine, Utah 84004

  5. Cashier’s check and/or money orders payable to Legal Tender Services. Mail to the address above.

  6. Wire. (Instructions are emailed upon request.)

  7. Precious metal coins, bars, or bullion, either in legal tender or not legal-tender

  8. Debit or Credit Card through the UPMA.org portal

COSTS FOR SHIPPING GOLDBACKS

The price of shipping your Goldbacks will vary depending on the value and quantity of what is being shipped. Expect a flat rate cost of either $10 or $20 for domestic addresses and up to $75 for international.
