At its annual member meeting, the UPMA honored G. Edward Griffin with its first ever Champion of Sound Money Award. in 1994 Mr. Griffin published his highly influential work on the United States monetary system, The Creature from Jekyll Island. He has since been an avid supporter of sound money solutions for the nation, for which UPMA chose to recognize him for a lifetime of leadership and service to the cause.
When potential future members Google “UPMA” they find an Indian dish. We are rebranding to “Alpine Gold Exchange” over the coming month so that people can find us and know what we are about.
